We dive into the intertwining of emotional/psychological states, constitutional types and elements. We also discuss energetics, phases and seasons. We speak extensively about why TCM focuses so much on digestion and why the Chinese put this as the main area to work on; as well as how TCM has evolved with regards to treating ‘modern’ diseases such as Autoimmune Disease and leaky gut.

Lastly, we spend a great deal of time discussing fad diets and the current ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach currently pushed by allopathic and alternative practitioners. We talk about why the current ketogenic fad is not sustainable from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. We dive deep into how to bridge diet, seasons and constitutions; and why some ‘healthy diets’ may make your health conditions worse.
