Carey Gillam joins me on today’s show to discuss her book “Whitewash- The Story of a Weed Killer, Cancer and the Corruption of Science”. We cover alot of ground in this episode including policy and legislation, how companies like Monsanto skew science and influence politics; and what the independent science is starting to show. We also discuss the latest court cases and dive into how the prosecutors won both cases in favour of the plaintiffs. Other areas we touch on include maximum residue limits, glyphosate and the microbiome and GMO labeling
This is an issue that concerns us all and doesn’t seem to be going away! Join me to at the Toronto March Against Bayer rally on May 25th.
