Show Notes

We’ve all encountered toxic people in our lives. For many of us, we have simply had to ‘deal with them’ and suck it up. No-one understand this more than today’s guest, David Gillespie. David worked as a corporate lawyer for some of the biggest corporations on the planet. Through his own personal journey, he identified patterns of behavior which prompted him to research this extensively.

This is perhaps one of the most interesting discussions I have had on the show. In addition to being a lawyer, David has also established himself as a prolific author. After serious battles with weight, he finally ditched the sugar….and wrote a whole book on it!. He then targeted the vegetable oil industry and education system; ultimately working his way into his latest book “Taming Toxic People – The Science of Identifying and Dealing with Psychopaths”.

We cover many areas in this episode – food, politics surrounding food, social dynamics and and individual vs community constructs, and of course – toxic people. It is alot to try and relay in the show notes, so best just listen to the episode
